White Oak Belly Stave

Chosen specifically for laminating with hardwood or bamboo backing, this stave features grain orientation that is slightly less than perfect but ideal for a backed bow. It measures  1 1/2" wide, 7/16" thick, and is 66" long. There is a 1/4" split-off on one end that feathers out at 9" (as seen in the photo) One side is smoothed and prepared for easy glue-up, making this staves a reliable choice for your bow-building needs.
